Chrismas Tags

Hello Friends!

I totally cased these Christmas Tags from the 2008 Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog! I just thought their sample was so darling, I just had to purchase everything to make the same Christmas tags.  Gee, I felt like my customers!!!! tee hee

Christmas Dots & Stripes Card - Double Sided Designer Series Paper

Here's another 'card design' I enjoyed using Stampin' Up!'s Double Sided Designer Series Paper. You can dress up a card so fast and easy using punches too!

I used the following punches on this card: 1/16" Circle Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch & Scallop Circle Punch

Christmas Trees - Double Sided Designer Series Paper

Hello Friends!

I just love Stampin' Up!'s double-sided designer series paper! I enjoy coming up with 'one card design' and then creating the same card, using different sides of the designer series papers.  It's a fun twist of making different Christmas Trees, wouldn't you agree? This way we can enjoy both sides of the beautiful paper, while making lots of festive Christmas Trees:)

Christmas - Santa Card

Hello Friends!

What a fun and easy Very Merry... Santa card we made at my last Holiday Stamp-A-Stack Class. Everyone thought it was so darling:) Who won't enjoy receiving a Santa Card like this!?!? :)

Materials Used:

Stamp Set: Short & Sweet, Best Yest (Hostess Level 1 set)

Cardstock: Basic Black, Gold Metallic, Real Red, Whisper White

Punches: Scallop Edge, Scallop Circle, 1 1/4" Circle Punch

Accessories: Paper Cutter, Scoring blade, Snail Adhesive

Adopt A Soldier for the Holidays

Hello Friends!

I am so excited my family adopted two soldiers for the Holiday! I just went shopping and picked up lots of candy, DVD's, socks, health care products and more. I am wrapping them individually (as requested) so it is truly a surprise when they open the box! We also are sending out 25 Christmas Cards to the troops.  I'm going to request more because I have time to send more!!

I met this wonderful lady named Donna from Utah through one of the stamping groups I'm on. Donna receives four soldiers a week to be adopted for the holidays.  She also receives lists of soldiers to send Christmas Cards to.  Donna has been working with a Soldiers group for three years.

If you would like to adopt a soldier or send Christmas Cards to the troops, or maybe even both, please contact Donna at crstlsky@mt.net and she will send you all the information you need. 

The deadline for mailing Christmas packages is December 5th, and the Christmas Cards December 10th.

Please feel free to 'share this link' with your family and friends.  There is nothing more rewarding during the Holidays than doing nice things for others. Our service men and women who protect us with their lives deserve to know just how much we appreciate them and are thankful.

Stamper's Showcase - Ann S

Hello Friends!

I am excited to share this adorable card from my good Stampin' Friend & Club Member - Ann Sysel.  As soon as Stampin' Up! comes out with a new Animal Stamp Set - it is PURCHASED by Ann! I think it's  safe to say, Ann is a serious contender for Noah! Noah's Ark -vs- Ann's Rubber Room, I think it's too close to call! tee hee

As soon as I saw the stamp set, Monkey Business I fell in love! One of my all time favorite Children's books was Curious George, who also reminds me of President Bush... but in a cute way! Not only did Stampin' Up! retire this stamp set but President Bush is 'retiring' too... Humm, the irony of some things!?!?

If I may, President Elect Obama looks like our new Sock Monkey stamp set.  He makes fun of his own ears, but I think they are cute, just like the Sock Monkey's ears on page 51 in our current 2008 Fall Winter Catalog. I do believe the Sock Monkey stamp set is one of Stampin' Up! best sellers, and Obama won on election day... Humm, the irony of some things!?!?!?

Enough about politics, I hope you enjoy the card.  <wink>

Tic Tac Holder - Snowman

Hello Friends!

This weekend I'll be at a wonderful Stamping Retreating in Vermont, while also visiting my best-friend, Erika! We haven't 'seen' each other in 2 years! We email & chat on the phone alot, but it's nothin' like the real thing!

Do you have a girl-friend that is just plan great for your soul? Does she make you laugh so hard, it hurts. You giggle uncontrollably like you did when you were a teen? And the harder  you try to stop laughing, the more you do? People around you can't help but SMILE (or give odd looks) when they see you together because you are having such a great time? Well, that's Entertainment, AKA Erika to me! And I thank God for her friendship!

The last time I said goodbye to Erika after a visit was just about 2 years ago. I thought she was heading over seas far-far-away... and I won't be seeing her again, or at least not for a very-very long time!  But I'm very happy to say, she and her husband's plans changed and they just purchased their first home in Vermont!!  YEAH!!!!  My heart ached and my throat was so very sore the day I drove back home from Vermont! Now, it's two years later, and I'll be visiting her for 5 fun full days, and I can't wait!

Below is one of the two Shoe-Box Stamping Projects I will be bringing. There are over a dozen fellow stampers attending the Third Annual Stamping Retreat, and each lady will bring 2 projects for everyone to make! I can't wait to see all the wonderful ideas I'll be making & taking home. And yes, of course, I will share them with you! Wendy so graciously puts this event together every year, but will not be able to attend because of unexpected surgery she is having.  We will miss her dearly! May you have a speedy recovery Wendy! xoxo

These are so easy to make! They make great little Seasonal Holiday Gifts for the Dry Cleaner Clerk,  Bakery Shop Helper, Grocery Store Cashiers and stocking stuffers just to name a few ideas ...

Materials Used:

Stamp Set: Big on Christmas, Merry & Bright (YES, Ann!)

Cardstock: Bashful Blue, Whisper White

Classic Ink: Bashful Blue, Basic Black

Stampin' Write Markers: Mellow Moss, Only Orange, Real Red

Accessories:1" Circle Punch, Corner Rounder, Sponge Dauber, Snail Adhesive, Dimensionals, Paper Snips, Bashful Blue Taffeta Ribbon, Box of white Tic Tacs.

Dimensions:

-         4 ½” x 3”, score at 1 7/8 from each side to create spine

-         Layered piece 2 ¾” x 1 5/8”

-         Ribbon 12” long (adhere between the Bashful Blue holder and the layer of Whisper White cardstock.

Today, I'ld like to share a beautiful card I received from a very good Stampin' Friend & Club Member - Ann Sysel. She made this card using one of our Card Kits. Ann is crazy about our Card Kits and I know exactly why!

As a doctor, Ann is very busy with work and business travel, so these kits are wonderful for her! All the supplies are pre-cut, scored, adhesive, ribbons, buttons, glitter, lots of other accessories, stamps, inks, markers and even envelopes are also included (depending upon the kit you purchase)!
