Donating For A Good Cause

Hello Friends!

I was so excited to receive an email from a customer of mine (Hi Angela) asking if I'ld like to donate to a local elementary school auction. I answered her right back, YES, YES, YES... I'ld love to help out!  What can I do?

Well, below is the wooden basket I decorated for her event. 

-  I love colors, so I tied lots of pretty ribbons on the handle

-  I used the New Good Friend Stamp Set from the NEW 2009 Spring Summer Catalog.

-  I used lots of bling like Stampin' Up's Hodgepodge hardware and Clear Crystal Brads:)

-  I even used my Big Shot and my Top Note Die for a cute background. 

-  To cover the wooden basket, I used Stampin' Up's beautiful Designer Series Paper, which made it so easy to coordinate and design the front panel using the same color families.

Inside the basket I put

-  A cute stamp

-  Stampin' Spot

-  Some colorful pencils & pens,

-  Some handmade cards by yours truly

-  A Free class for the winner and (10) of her family & friends (valued at $220)

- A $20 Gift Certificate! 

- A New 2009 Spring Summer Catalog (valued at $9.95) will be given to her at your class, where she will pick out FREE products on Me...

-  If she chooses to show her catalog around, gee like who won't want too!?!?!  She may earn more FREE products from Stampin' Up! as a Hostess AND be invited to my Hostess Appreciation Event in August!!!  WOO HOO...

I hope whom ever wins will enjoy this basket of goodies.  It was made with lots of love.

Hello Stampers!

I'm so excited to start offering the Buy Now option.  My first Buy Now choices are for joining My Stamp-A-Stack Card Classes.

I'll be receiving my new accessories and stamp sets soon from the Spring Summer Catalog and can't wait to start playing and sharing them with you!

- You will notice I have the numbers I, II or III after the title of some of the class names.  This is to let you know you will be creating differentt projects in each class. 

- You will also notice, I offer each class a few different times/days for your convenience. 

- You will get to Choose the Cost of the Event.  There are two choices....

                  - Customer Fee and

                  - Club/Downline Member Fee. 

* Please note as time goes on and someone attends 2 or more classes within 6 months, they soon will be paying the lower fee as well. 

It's my way to encourage you to keep coming back for more fun.  The more you do - the more discounts, prizes and gifts you receive from me... It's fun rewarding others for joining the FUN!

Good Friend Card

Hello Friends!

I'm so excited to share a card I made this evening for a swap I joined hostessed by my 2nd up line, Tina!  

The swap was using: Your favorite new set + the Big Shot... that is why I had to join!

Card stock: Close to Cocoa, Craft, Very Vanilla

Lois Folla's Stampin' Studio Before & After

Hello Friends!

I don't know about you all, but this is what I've been waiting for.... the unveiling of my new Stampin' Studio Office Desk Space, my 8.5 x 11 & 12 x 12 Card stock Storage and my New Wall! of Punches!

It was very nice and neat... and I was very lucky to have this....  "before"

- 8.5 x 11 card stock filed in the paper storage unit. My scanner to the left of my computer/tv.  My wall of punches on the top right of this photo... 

But, I did not have much work space, which is what I really needed... So my darling husband, put on hold all of his projects such as finishing our backyard deck, the white fencing around our backyard, and our basement remodel so he could finish up my office.  He already had put in cabinets for me and did an outstanding job!  Please go to my Album on my side bar to see my whole office...

Yes, I do know I am very blessed to have such a wonderful husband! I am thankful every day!

 

I had a vision, and now it''s reality!!!  The same space now looks like this...

This view is from my door looking into my Studio...

Notice: Under the cabinets, I have a magnetic strip holding my scissors and punches.  I purchased towel racks and metal baskets from Ikea to keep everything UP off my work desk area. I had on FOX CHANNEL News on... at the time:)

 

I now store both sizes of Stampin' Up! card stock next to each other!  That is awesome! Instead of putting in the regular shelving, I asked my husband to purchase thinner pieces of wood and cut them down so I could have more shelving 'lighter & thinner' so I could store ALL 48 colors of our 8.5 x 11 & 12 x 12 card stock & Naturals (Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Confetti White, etc) !!

 

Below you can see how I hung my Stampin' Up! Sizzzix Die Samples, card stock sampler and Designer Series paper sampler on s-hooks:) Easy access and everything but my computer, phone and Big Shot off my work area!

 

My punches are here now... The two clear plastic file holders decorated with our Rub ons hold my future Stampin' Up! Events on one shelf and Closed Orders I'm waiting to receive on the other shelf.

The Turtle is from our Stampin' Up! Leadership 2009 :) It reminds me to S-L-O-W...  D-O-W-N... enjoy life.... as my friend Debbie so wisely shared with me! :)

Stampin' Up! Leadership 2009 Photos - Memento Mall

Hello Friends!

I'm back from beautiful Sunny Florida and getting acclimated to the north east weather again!  Now that our amazing new Spring Summer 2009 Catalog is HERE, I'm hoping it will help bring our 2009 Spring Weather with it SOON! :)

What an awesome Leadership we had in Orlando, Florida.  The weather was beautiful, the Stampin' Up! Events were awesome and even though I've been attending Stampin' Up! events for over 8 years they always come out with fresh new ideas that even I learn from!  I just love this company!

I am excited to start sharing photos of this event with you. I took over 1600 pictures and will explain a few in posts but will have an Album on my side bar with many more in the near future. 

This event is very different from our yearly Conventions.  It is calm and relaxing.  Those who are Sr Supervisor and up were invited to attend Leadership. It is a privilege to be treated and pampered the way we were from the stamp sets & wonderful gifts we receive to the events we attend and the delicious meals we enjoyed... What an awesome event! 

Please note: I do know the English language.... but my posts may vary from past to present, since I'm very visual and when I think about it, I feel like I'm there again:) And gee, with this cold weather, who wouldn't want to stop 'dreaming' about the warm wonderful business trip/vacation in Florida just a short time ago:)

I just had to add 'tabs' to make it easier for my customers to go through:) Here is what it looks like now:) I do the same thing on my copy of the current catalog but using out Tab punch and the NEW In Colors so when I'm asked where things are, I just look at my tabs:) Life is good when it's organized!
