I finally sat down and played with the Ornament Stencils... I LOVE them! You will find two Ornament packets to choose from in the Definitely Decorative Brochure on page 29.  Since I LOVED them both, I purchased them both 9but of course right:) I enjoy inter-change the piece:)

NEW DAYTIME Stamper's Club Offer

 

I have had several requests to hold a day time Stamper’s Club Class.  If there is enough interest, I am happy to offer one;)  For years I’ve run the Stamper’s Club Monthly Class in the evening.  But due to a handful of requests, I thought I would see if there was interest with more of you, if I also offered a Stamper’s Club Class that meets during the day... on the second Friday of the month from 11:00- 1:00 PM also.

I will continue the evening Stamper’s Club Class on the second Wednesday of the month from 6:30 – 8:30 PM, that will not changeJ. 

But I'm considering adding a Daytime Club Class so Mom’s with children in school during the day, can join and enjoy a few hours once a month creating all sorts of fun projects.

I look forward to hearing from you and am always happy to add events to help you be able to get some ‘me time’ to relax, enjoy and have fun with other creative adults! This is very important to me.  I think we need to ‘de-stress’ and I enjoy helping others do that through stamping!

A few highlights about the Stamper’s Club:

- This Club runs for six months - from January through June 2010

- You will agree to spend $25 a month – and will enjoy Hostess benefits once during the six months

- Hostess Benefits entails a minimum of a Level One Hostess ONLY gift, $15 in FREE merchandise and an opportunity to receive any Hostess Promotion going on during the month you are hosting.  If you choose to have a workshop in your home when you are hostess, those sales would be added to the sales you already have from the club, which is  a minimum of $150.

- You will be my Guest at a Special Hostess Only Event in August 2010

Definetly Decorative Ornament Tree & Me & My Big Shot

Stamper's Club Gift Patrol is HERE!

I mentioned in a previous post I had offered an Early Bird Sign Up Gift for all Stampers who signed up by November 20 for my New Stamper's Club starting in January 2010.  I even showed what that gift was going to be.  

Well, I just wanted to share an update... Come and Get them ladies!!!!!!! Stick a fork in my, I'm done, with this project:) But trust me, you do not want to see my 'List of Things To Do... :) "Deep Breath & Big Grin)

I LOVE my Tree of Definitely Decorative Ornaments! Hey Linda, what does your tree look like?  tee hee This photo is for you:)

This beautiful tree has been on my wall since last December when I put the tags from my Tag Class on it. 

I 'had' (is the key word here) decided it was a wonderful tree to share inspirations for the Holidays as well as Decorate my living room for all to enjoy my creative passion. 

Well, you know how................'Oh, I'm going to do that.... goes'. I'm rather embarrassed to say, these are my first Tree Ornaments on this lovely decoration since last December. 

But I'm excited, to have had the tree to hang them from.  I just realized something sad though, once the girls come over and pick out their ornament, my tree will be bare again...

Hey maybe they will make an ornament for my tree to replace the one they are taking!??!  What do you think girls!?  See this is also a 'test' to see who is reading my blog... tee hee

Oh yes, me & My Big Shot and Fancy Favor Die were at it for the packaging presentation of these beautiful ornaments. I also purchased 'Snow' for a soft seating to keep the ornaments safe:)

I should be receiving my order soon with yet ANOTHER set of FLURRY Definitely Decorative Decor Element Designs to finish up my gift ornaments.... 

It is truly a disease... but it's a fun disease, much better then my FMS & TMJ I have :)

More of My Digital Studio Sample Pages from Lois' Handbook

Welcome Back!

(This post was started on November 12 and I 'had planned' on finishing it up the very next day - as I'm finalizing it now, on November 24, I'm dazed and confused.. Does anyone have a clue where that time went to?) 

! I have a few more pages I'ld like to tease, I mean share with you.... And YES it took me many many hours to create My Digital Album, but it was well worth it! 

Because there has been interest, I will be offering this Handbook to customers as well as fellow demonstrators.

My Digital Studio Cd's start you off with 10 scrapbook templates which are in my handbook. 

BUT get this - you can create your own template(s) and SAVE them in your Template Library on My Digital Studio, well okay 'Your - Digital Studio, but you get my drift. (wink)

We have beautiful Designer Series papers to choose from in the initial two Cd's from My Digital Studio.

Since My Digital Studio offers Stampin' Up! Exclusive colors in print so that means my sample Designer Series Paper pages are like looking at the real thing! 

** Keep in mind, it is NOT the same 'feel' - for instance, our Holiday Designer Series Paper in the Holiday Mini is 'FLOCKING Paper'... so you can't feel that in my handbook, but you can see exactly what it looks like:)

As I mentioned in my last post, My Digital Studio's FIRST Add On's were offered so I thought, great, I can add them in, with the cost and explain on the opposite page, how easy it is to upload your purchased to your computer... The first Add On's offered were Two Designer Series Paper Packs and five stamp sets. 

Think about this, you purchase a Designer Series Paper as an Add On for only $4.95 and you can use it over and over and over again in any size or shape, opaque or normal! 

 

 
 

As I was trying to finish my hand book, my mind was brain-storming... Lois, you must add information on the Big Shot & Dies and Build A Bear and some cool Techniques and what about mentioning the categories of stamps we offer... like alphabets, backgrounds, elements, en espanol, greetings, everyday, holidays, kids, nature, occasions, sentiments, there also are our accents & elements, breads, brads, buttons, eyelets, glitter, hardware, ribbons & fibers, rub-ons, tags, tools, home decor, vinyl art, stencil, oh my and our inks... crayons, ink pads, spots, markers, pencils & markers,... someone people stop me my head is going to explode:)  

Now, ask me how I stopped, I ended up with 100 pages and I couldn't add any more!!!  LOL Throe, yes, again, I'll stick with the word throe... tee hee

Birthday Thank you's from Me to You All...

I'm playing catch up with things that have weighed heavy on my  mind.  I am so thankful for my family and friends... and what better way to share my thanks is to make a post just about them?

Terry my BFF from Murry Bergtraum High School, NYC, NY Graduating Class of 1982 - and I have been recently reunited... It was a Blast from the past, and a blessing! 

We have plans to get together in early December, but she just couldn't wait to give me her homemade gift so she mailed it to me...

This is where the story begins...

One November Day, my mail-lady left a box outside my door.  Wow, what a surprise, what could this be, I asked myself?  Oh goody, it's from Terry. 

I opened the box... to find... a beautiful personalized Shopping bag... As you can see, I was not the only one curious as to what was in this bag! Sammy & Billy were hoping for bones... as for me - not so much :)

Here I'm trying to take a photo of the back of this beautiful bag but someone (Billy) was having a hard time waiting for me to open my birthday gift! If he could talk, I'm sure he would have said something like, "Mommy, would you p-l-e-a-s-e put the camera down and open up your gift, I bark you, I mean beg you.."

 
The photo on this shopping bag was taken this past Summer during our first reunion after 28 years.

Of course, I followed protocol opening up the card first... OMG, it was an I Love Lucy Talking and Singing card... which drove Billy NUTS!!!  It was so FUNNY!!!

It was a beautiful November day, that is why my door was open.  I put my card down in front of the door for Billy to check out closer - he was SO memorized by the 'chatter'  the card was making... What a priceless memory!

Okay, okay, I'm getting to it, and my fabulous handmade gift which I will treasure forever is this:

Terry needle points beautifully, and found a perfect glass frame to show case her work of art!

Thank you from the bottle of my heart, my dear friend!

I'ld like to 'Shout Out' to Mary for the awesome Birthday cookies I 'had' to share with Ann... as we made the Trick or Treat project.  tee hee

Yum Yum, were they delicious!

Note To Mary: Hey Mary, Ann will be on a farm in the midwest drinking wild turkey, oops I mean eating wild turkey... can you make these chocolate chip cookies again?  We won't have to share with Ann this time.. (big evil grin... na na na na...)

Another 'Shout Out' is to Kristi for my Witches Broom (I'm saving gas money which = more money for STAMPS & ACCESSORIES from the Occasional Mini!!!!)  & my Goody bag. 

Kristi taught her son's first grade class how to make Green Friendly transportation as a Class Mom for this month's craft project! She LOVES her Big Shot, notice she used her Top Note Die, as a topper for her goody bags. I know she'd be upset if I did not point that out.. She is so darn creative, I just love her to death... :)  She was my First BS Customer... tee hee

A few more 'Shout Outs' but sorry no photos, to Lisa - I love my beautiful Note pad holder which is sitting on my desk - to Stacy for my fabulous to die for Etienne Aligner Wallet - to Ann for my Kitchen Appliance & Personalized note pads, my darling husband for my Sony READER -  and for all my other wonderful gifts & email messages I've received from family & friends... Except that BD card from my Brother-In-Law Scott, that was just plain YUCKIE!!! A little blond girl picking her nose... that is so NOT me! But hey, he's an 'in law' what do you expect... LOL 

So once again, Belated Thank you's from me to you all!

Trick or Treat 2009

I've been so excited to share what my friends Ann & Mary helped me make the night of my birthday, which also happens to be Halloween Eve (Yes, mischief night).

The three of us have a monthly playdate, and when they noticed it fell on my birthday they both asked if I was sure I wanted to keep our playdate.  I said, of course, I was going to celebrate my day with my darling husband over the weekend, and I really look forward to my playdates with stampin friends! It's the ony time I get to 'play' and not work:)

The week of Halloween was very busy for me, gee what's knew you might be thinking... :)  Anyway, I realized I had not made any Trick or Treat projects....  I thought, hum, do I really need to do it this year or can I just hand out candy?  HORROR, just give out candy at my house without a FUN Stampin' Treat, na, that is totally impossible!

That day, I was surfing the web and I saw this adorable Trick or Treat idea that was do Doable!!!  I would have time to create these I thought, but if I had 'four more hands' it would go MUCH quicker!  Hence, this is where Ann & Mary came in:)

So I asked them if they minded making treats for the children, and they were welcome to take some home for their crowd too! Well, of course friends don't let you down, and they were just as excited as I was.  Ann stayed late, but Mary stayed until 1:30 AM finishing up 175 of these critters!  Neither of them would take any home until after Halloween to be sure I had enough to give out.  Are they friends or what!??!

  
 

And let me tell you, I was SO happy I (we) made these!  I have Halloween Critter followers - each year they are so exited when they come to my door, young and old... to see what Treat I'm giving out.

I LOVED the comments I received from my many 'groupies'!  tee hee Here are a few things I heard, I started to write them down to blog, so I won't forget.  They were so kind and priceless!! 

-  This was from a single Dad:  I still have your Frankenstein on my Frig

-  A little Girl: I tell my friends, we have to go back to that house every year

- A Mom: We love coming to your house every year

- A Dad: What did you create this year?

So as you can see, with all the FUN I have sharing my passion for creativity, I'll be sure to always make time to create a special Treat for my Halloween Critter Following.
 

And that is what Stampin' Up! is all about!

It's All Wrapped up with Me & My Big Shot!

Let's see what have I been up to?  Well, during the Holiday Season I love to wrap gifts purchased.

Gift giving using the Big Shot and the Matchbox Die is so easy not to mention life is less stressful and a wonderful time saver.  How did I ever live without it!?!??!   No searching for where I can purchase small boxes or how to package and decorate them....  Check out the projects I completed this morning.

The names have been 'erased' using photo-shop because they are gifts....  and these people follow my blog... I'ld feel horrible if I spoiled their gift surprise :)

The first group of  matchbox die boxes have 'Created especially for you by' Personalized Stamp in them... What lucky stampers they are, don't you think:)

Below are FUN personalized stamps.  Sorry but I can not share the saying on the stamps yet... It's important for them to be a TOTAL AWESOME surprise! 

I promise to share what the saying is with you at a later date - once I know the gifts have been received and opened:) Trust me, you will really get a kick out of it. 

In the photos did you happen to notice I did not decorate these adorable Matchbox Die Boxes using Holiday Designer Series paper?  

I thought I would pick cheery DS Paper they will enjoy looking at all year long on their desks :) 

For the FUNNY Stamp I used Clear Window Sheets for the 'Top/Cover' part of the Match Box Die so they can grin everything they read the stamp :) 

I shared what this FUNNY stamp says to my BFF Ann (Now Lisa, I did not say my NEW BFF.. You can have more then ONE BFF right!?!?) - and she said. "Stampin' Up! let you say that?" I said, sure why not, with a BIG GRIN :) I think she will be ordering one for her and possibly for a gift too! It is that contagious!!!
